DCM-20 Sensor Family

The KxS DCM-20 refractive index sensor is the most modern system for rapid determination of Brix values or their changes during production. The DCM-20 is integrated directly into a pipe - different types and sizes of connection flanges are available. All functions are already integrated in the sensor. Both analog and digital output signals can be selected.

The measured value output or a wash signal can be provided via one of the two M12 connections, e.g. in the form of a 4-20mA output with adjustable range, which directly supplies the concentration values. Alternatively, the results can be output via a ModBus interface.

A further function arises in cases where the surfaces of the lines slowly become clogged. A programmable wash cycle is provided for this, which automatically cleans the prism surface. A further function is the output of an alarm signal as soon as set upper or lower limits are exceeded.
